Welcome to Rhythm Essence LA's music production universe. Rhythm Essence LA is a boutique music studio owned by Ismael Pineda Jr. It was born from a dream to establish a studio to produce, record, mix, and master music of all genres and flavors. It started in a garage with an m-audio 4 track pro, m-audio bx5a monitors, and a house speaker system for comparison. Upon research of studio building the studio was developed in the basement during the 2020 pandemic. The studio was later redesigned with inside acoustics in mind after a Berklee College of Music class with renowned acoustician John Storyk. The studio aims to generate high-quality music. The studio grows with the days and boasts high end near field studio monitors, a nice collection of microphones and analog gear for all tracking, mixing and mastering purposes. The control and live rooms were meticulously built and measured for optimal sound when recording, mixing, or mastering.
Rhythm Essence LA has an ever-expanding inventory of high-end analog outboard gear, microphones, instruments, and digital plug-ins for all recording needs.
The chimney and the lights lend an air of comfort to the recording studio, which helps to create an atmosphere that is suitable to recording.
The diffuser acoustic panels aid in enhancing the sound obtained during recording. They also help in spreading the music uniformly around the space during mixing, resulting in a balance free of room nodes and frequency anomalies.
GIK Acoustics soffit bass traps are set up in every corner of the room to offer the necessary bass frequency absorption to balance the low frequencies throughout the studio.
GIK Alpha Pro Diffuser/Absorber 1A & 2D panels are strategically placed in the live area to create an optimal acoustic environment for any live recordings.
Rhythm Essence LA uses Avid Pro Tools for all recording, mixing, and editing needs.
